Schedule 80 PVC Tees

Schedule 80 PVC tees are one of the most commonly used Schedule 80 fittings. Tees create a 90-degree line from the existing line, connect two lines into one main line for chemical mixing, split an existing line into two or re-route flow in a new direction. All of our Schedule 80 PVC tees are created in line with ASTM D-1784, NSF/ANSI 14 and 61 and ASTMD-2466/2467 standards.

Schedule 80 PVC have the added benefit of being made from durable Schedule 80 PVC. Because it can withstand higher temperatures than Schedule 40 PVC, these tees can be used to transport hot liquids. They are often found in factories, home plumbing systems, chemical mixing situations and laboratories. They will withstand corrosion and hold up well under pressure, so they are also well suited for underground use. The smooth interior of Schedule 80 PVC means that these tees will not create a loss of flow due to friction.

Schedule 80 PVC tees come with either slip socket or threaded ends. Using them with PVC adhesive increases the strength of the bond, but they can be used without as well. We stock Schedule 80 PVC tees in sizes ranging from 1/2 inch to 12 inches in diameter. To connect a tee to an existing line, choose a tee that has the same diameter as the pipe.
