The Eaton Model 52 strainer uses a butterfly valve to switch flow from one chamber to the other with minimum effort. This results in less pressure loss and continuous flow. If you don’t have much space, the Model 52 is perfect. Its compact design gets the job done. The strainer basket is uniquely designed to be convoluted, or pleated – able to efficiently filter out damage-causing particles. Either side of the strainer has a wheel operator to make accessibility easier. An arrow on top of the gear housing indicates which chamber is in use.
