Temperature Specific Applications with CPVC Valves

CPVC is the go-to material for liquid handling applications that require a higher max temperature resistance than PVC. CPVC is rated for 200F max temperatures. That means it can be used for cold AND hot water handling. We carry both ball valves and check valves in CPVC material.

Types of CVPC Valves

Ball valves are used for on and off functionality of a pipe line. Our ball valves feature all CPVC construction with EPDM or Viton seals. Ball valves feature a quarter turn close and open using an opening in a sphere to allow or disallow flow from running through the valve body. These valves come in various types and sizes. We carry compact ball valves which are simple one pieces valves as well as true union style ball valves. True unions (also known as double union CPVC valves) are unique in that they can be taken apart completely to repair a part or clean it out. This can be done without cutting into the pipe!

The second most popular type of CPVC valve is a check valve. This allows flow in one direction but prevents flow from going the other way in the pipe. Great for handling sewage or any filtered materials. Check valves come in ball check, flap check, swing check, and spring check styles. These can also be compact or true union.
