Caps are usually used in a pipe job to stop up the end of the line. CPVC caps are a light gray in color and they slide or screw over the end of pipe (or a male threaded fitting). They range in size from tiny ¼” caps up to large 12 inch size caps. For large diameter fittings we recommend using a heavy body, slow dry CPVC cement. That will allow you to apply the solvent, place the fitting, and get it clamped in place so it can set.
