The Eaton Model 72 Simplex Basket Strainer has a large basket capacity that sets it apart from the rest. This means fewer line shutdowns to clean or change the basket – no tools needed to open the cover. Its precision-machined basket seats provide a liquid-tight barrier, allowing no debris to slip past. The Eaton Model 72 is even tested at 150% of its maximum rated pressure to ensure its durability. Includes a stainless steel basket with perforated or mesh design. The heavy-duty Eaton Strainer Model 72 is the industry standard when it comes to simplex strainers.

Simplex Basket Strainers
The model 72 strainer is in the simplex family of strainers. This is the more basic of the two types (simplex and duplex). Simplex strainers require shutdown of the pipeline for any strainer maintenance, cleaning, or replacement of baskets. Most simplex model strainers have a single basket that must periodically be emptied or changed out. That makes them ideal for applications where 100% uptime is not a necessity.
