The Eaton model 85 strainer is a Y-strainer. This means it is simpler than a basket strainer, which holds more debris and can handle higher flow rates. Y-strainers like this heavy duty steel model are best used to protect process systems like steam, air, and natural gas. This strainer is available in several end types and features a precision machined screen seat for superior bypass protection.

Y-Strainers
