Link Seal Sizing Chart

Link Seal Links

For Link Seal Modular Seal Sizing, you can find your pipe type and locate correct pipe size by using the Nominal Diameter and Actual Outside Diameter. Once you verify that your pipe O.D. matches the actual outside diameter shown on the chart, determine the type of wall opening to be used. Choose from Century-Line non-metallic (CS Model Sleeve), WS Steel Sleeve or Cast/Core Drilled Hole. Note that the sections outlined in gray represent Century-Line (CS Model Sleeve), WS Steel Sleeve, and Cast/Core Driller and from there you will be able to identify your sleeve model, the link seal modular size, and the number of links required for seal assembly.

Century-Line Non-Metallic Sleeve or WS Steel Sleeve Sizing

When ordering Link Seal modular seals, be sure to pay attention to the sleeve part numbers in columns CS Model Number (Century-Line) or WS Model Number. Always indicate sleeve length in inches. Century-Line sleeves are shipped standard in 16” lengths and can be field cut to as short as 8” in length.

Cell-Cast Hole Forming Disk Sizing

The CC Model Number represents Cell-Cast Disks. Be sure to combine 3” or 4” Cell-Cast Disks to create wall thickness. The threaded rod must be requested when ordered and you will need to specify TRA at the end of the ordering code.

Sizing Method

Also in our Link Sizing Chart, you will be able to find that Pipeline Seal & Insulator, Inc. has re-evaluated the Link-Seal modular seal standard sizing for the sizing charts we have included. The updated method allows for the most rubber possible to fit into the hole. More rubber in the annular space produces a better performing seal which benefits the engineer, owner, and contractor. Because this may require a larger size link, we have included updated charts that will allow you to compare previous chart selections to the current ones.
