The Eaton model 50 Strainer has a duplex design. That means you don"â„¢t need to shut down the pipeline to service a basket. Flow is diverted from one basket to the other using a unique plug valve design. This diverter plug allows you to change flow by turning a handle in a 90 degree arc. This requires no special equipment or tools and takes only seconds.
