Eaton Model 52 Duplex Strainer

The Eaton model 52 large diameter strainer is a duplex basket strainer available in 10" to 18" size. It features continuous flow operation - no need to shut down the line for basket maintenance. This unique design uses butterfly valves to switch flow from one basket to the other. This means the strainer can handle higher flow rates and creates less pressure loss than diverter plug designs. An easy-turn hand wheel controls the flow direction. This strainer also features an easy open cover. No tools or equipment needed - something you won't find on most large strainers. The Eaton 52 also features a threaded drain, a vent, and positive shutoff. This strainer is available in iron or bronze and has a flanged connection.
