Fiberglass Fittings

Fiberglass Fittings are available in sizes ranging from ½” to 84”. Fiberglass fittings sometimes referred to as reinforced thermoset plastic or FRP, are constructed from plastic that is strengthened with strands of fiber or fabric reinforcements to create a strong corrosion resistant fitting. Fiberglass fittings are customizable and lightweight and can be used for many different corrosion resistant applications due to its physical properties which include low thermal conductivity, high impact and abrasion resistance, and ability to operate at temperatures up to 300˚F. For economical reasons fiberglass fittings are often the chosen type of fitting more often over metal fittings because of its lighter weight and overall cost as well as low maintenance costs involved to keep the system running correctly. Typical applications where Fiberglass fittings are used include air pollution, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, corrosive liquid transportation, oil, paper, waste water and wastewater treatment, and in water applications.
