Description

Description

The MA911B/2 lab-grade gel-filled pH probe is specifically engineered for use with Milwaukee Monitors and Controllers, delivering accurate and consistent pH measurements for laboratories, industrial applications, and water quality professionals. Designed to ensure dependable performance and long-lasting usability, this probe meets the demands of precision testing environments.

Top Design Features:

Double Junction

The double junction design minimizes the risk of clogging, resulting in greater reliability and stability for frequent testing and challenging sample compositions.

Spherical Glass Tip

The spherical glass tip provides an expansive surface area, accelerating response times for rapid and accurate pH readings.

Resin Body

The durable resin body guards the sensitive glass bulb, delivering impact resistance to withstand laboratory and field operations.

Extended Cable

A robust 6.6' cable expands placement options and ensures flexible, convenient pH measurements wherever you work.

Use and Care

Maintaining optimal performance of your pH probe is essential for accurate data. Pay close attention to the condition of the glass sensing bulb and reference junction, as both are critical to the probe’s functionality.

Sensing Bulb

Over time, the glass sensing bulb will experience natural wear, reducing its sensitivity. Routine maintenance will help preserve its accuracy and extend its lifespan.

Reference Junction

The reference junction allows comparison between your sample and the internal reference. If this junction becomes clogged, measurement reliability will be compromised.

Adhere to the following care guidelines to get maximum longevity and accurate results from your pH electrode:

Storage

Keep your pH probe hydrated using pH probe storage solution or calibration buffer. Never store in tap water or deionized water, as this can permanently damage sensitivity. For best results, fill the probe cap with storage solution or buffer, secure tightly, and store the electrode upright to prevent leakage.

Cleaning

To protect the sensing bulb and clear the junction, regularly soak the probe in cleaning solution, especially after exposure to samples with high organic content.

Calibration

Periodic calibration ensures continued accuracy as the electrode ages. Always calibrate after cleaning or extended storage for optimal performance with your pH meter.
