PVC Coated Conduit Steel

(0 products)

PVC coated steel conduit is the best choice for electrical applications that need a combination of strength, corrosion resistance, and longevity. Ocal's PVC coated steel conduit can last for up to 50 years - as opposed to standard steel or PVC which is easily damaged. Ocal conduit comes in 10 foot lengths and comes standard in dark gray. This gray is the PVC coating (40 millimeters) on the outside of the galvanized steel. The inside and threads are coated with a corrosion resistant urethane (2 mils) that protects the pipe from rust and degradation.

Ocal is the only brand that Hot-Dip Galvanizes its steel pipe. This cleans and prepares the pipe for PVC adhesion and ensures you're getting the absolute best PVC Coated conduit out there. Next, the conduit is coated in 40 mils of PVC and sprayed inside with blue urethane. This also enables grounding to occur within the conduit. The threads are painted with blue urethane to complete the corrosion protection. Every bit of conduit is coated in protection to ensure rust and corrosion don't eat away at the steel. Properly installed Ocal conduit carries a 6 year warranty.

We carry PVC coated steel conduit in 1/2" to 6" size in various colors (though gray is standard). The standard gray conduit looks almost black in color and can be recognized as Ocal from the Blue Urethane that coats the inside and threads of their parts. Thomas & Betts makes the only PVC coated conduit on the market today that is standard-compliant. Get the best, and get it for less. Contact us today for a quote.
