The Chemtrolﾮ thread cap is an injection molded natural Kynarﾮ polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) thermoplastic fitting. Natural Kynarﾮ fittings are ideal for use with ultra-pure water, deionized/distilled and demineralized water systems, clean chemical processes, pharmaceutical operations and food processing. The Chemtrolﾮ thread cap features a female NPT thread connection. Chemtrolﾮ PVDF fittings are lightweight, easy to install and maintenance-free. Chemtrolﾮ fittings connect piping lengths together with thermo-seal fusion joining, threading or flanging to create a highly reliable, leak-free system. Chemtrolﾮ Kynarﾮ natural PVDF exhibits superior strength, working temperature and chemical resistance characteristics. Kynarﾮ PVDF offers versatile chemical resistance to slats, strong acids, dilute bases and many organic solvents such as aromatics, aliphadics and chlorinated groups. PVDF is also ideally suited for handling wet or dry chlorine bromine and other halogens.
