Schedule 80 CPVC Couplings

Used to connect pieces of schedule 80 CPVC pipe, our CPVC couplings come in several configurations and have a light gray color to them. Choose from sizes ranging from ½” all the way up to 12” couplings. CPVC is a popular choice for applications with a relatively high operating temperature. CPVC can handle temperatures up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Maximum pressure ratings vary based on fitting size.

A standard sch 80 CPVC coupling looks similar to a piece of pipe. It is a tubular part that two pieces of pipe fit into to connect them together. Alternatively, we also carry threaded couplings and reducing couplings. Threaded couplings accept threaded pipe, nipples or male threaded fittings. Reducer couplings are made to connect a piece of pipe to a smaller piece of pipe. These come in either slip (socket) style or female threaded ends.

An alternative to using couplings (for long, straight stretches of CPVC pipe) is to use belled end pipe. This is where one end of a piece of pipe is flared out so it is big enough for another end to fit snuggly inside. This eliminates the need for a CPVC coupling. This method is usually only helpful if you are running long stretches of pipe from end to end.
