PVC Duct Cap

When you have a PVC duct system that you need to stop the airflow on, you want PVC duct caps. These caps fit neatly over the end of a piece of PVC duct of the same diameter. This stops the flow well, and allows you to direct the flow to other areas of the system. Made from durable PVC duct material, these PVC duct systems have a maximum temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit and are both chemical and corrosion resistant.

There are many instances when a PVC duct cap may be necessary. PVC duct systems are rarely complete circuits. This means that there will be lines that end, and if those ends are not a vent, then they must be sealed. Caps provide a quick, yet effective way to seal off that end. Because these caps are made from PVC, they are corrosion resistant and can be used in systems with corrosive fumes and vapors.

The unique PVC material is strong enough to stand up to chemicals, yet lightweight enough to be installed easily, especially compared to metal duct work. The caps slip over the end of the PVC duct work, and can then be attached using cement or hot air welding techniques. If the duct is over 10-inches in size, the hot air welding technique is the preferred method. Both create a leak-proof barrier at the end of a line.

We carry PVC duct caps in sizes ranging from 3 inch to 24 inch diameters. This means that these caps can be used on just about any PVC duct system. Whether you are capping an existing line as part of your plan or making changes to your existing system that leaves an exposed line to address, you can create an airtight seal with the help of these PVC duct caps.
