Schedule 80 PVC Flanges

Schedule 80 PVC flanges allow for two pipes to be connected with a tight seal. They are often used to connect accessories to the system, and certain designs will stop the flow in the system as needed. With a wide range of options, Schedule 80 PVC flanges will accommodate many needs when creating a piping system. These flanges are NSF-14 certified and meet ASTM D1784 standards.

Flanges are one of the more versatile fittings and come in a wide range of configurations and types. Slip on, threaded, blind and van connecting flanges are the most commonly used. Slip on flanges slide over the end of the pipe and are then bolted into place. Threaded flanges will screw onto the pipe or fitting to provide a stronger seal. Blind flanges will stop the flow while still providing occasional access to the system. Finally, van flanges have a free floating ring around the flange that allows the user to align the four holes for the bolts after the flange has been installed, rather than before. Each of these designs is available in diameters ranging from 1/2 inch to 12 inches.

Each of these flanges is made from durable Schedule 80 PVC, so it is able to withstand the high pressure and high temperatures associated with many applications, like home plumbing, chemical mixing, firefighting and landscaping. The flanges work best with other schedule 80 pipes and fittings.
