Industries and Applications Served
Wintech identifies semiconductor, biotech and pharmaceutical, aerospace and deep-space, oil and gas, and pulp and paper among the industries it serves. Its tubing specifications also address sanitary distribution, bulk gas, instrumentation, clean dry air, and vacuum piping applications.
Selection depends on more than nominal size. High-purity gas and liquid systems can have distinct requirements for internal surface finish, cleaning, end preparation, and protective packaging. Define these requirements alongside the operating medium, temperature, and pressure or vacuum conditions. A product-family designation alone does not establish suitability for every process.
Choosing the Right Wintech Products
Start with the Wintech part number, engineering drawing, or purchase specification. For tubing, provide the exact alloy, seamless or welded construction, outside diameter, wall thickness, length, and quantity. Specify whether the request is for WinTech 10, 15, 20, 32, BA, or for-VAC, and list any additional finish requirements.
For fittings, include the configuration, dimensions, and connection type at every end. Distinguish automatic tube weld ends from hygienic clamp joints and supply the drawing for mixed-end or special configurations. State internal and external surface requirements separately, including roughness limits and units where specified.
Include required cleaning, capping, bagging, traceability, material test reports, and inspection documentation in the inquiry. If the project calls for a particular ASME BPE or SEMI specification, identify the applicable requirement and revision for review rather than assuming every product carries the same qualification.
