Y-Strainers are used for removal of small amounts of solids from liquid, gas, and steam lines. Usually they are used to protect vital components like pumps, valves and regulators. The compact heavy-duty design makes them ideal for high pressure systems and handling of chemicals and gasses. We have Y-strainers available in a variety of materials like PVC, CPVC, clear PVC, carbon and stainless steel.
