CPVC duct fittings are used to build complete exhaust, fume, and ventilation systems in commercial and industrial environments. We carry over 225 CPVC duct fittings from Harrison and Spears in sizes from 2" to 24", all manufactured from Corzan CPVC material rated for service temperatures up to 200°F.
Why Choose CPVC for Ductwork?
CPVC outperforms standard PVC and metal ductwork in demanding environments. It is rated for continuous temperatures up to 200°F, compared to 140°F for standard PVC, and offers excellent resistance to corrosive fumes, acids, bases, and chemical vapors. CPVC also has strong fire resistance properties, meeting ASTM E-84 flame spread and smoke developed ratings that make it acceptable for use in air plenums. The material is lightweight compared to metal duct, which reduces support requirements and simplifies installation. CPVC will not rust, corrode, or degrade from chemical exposure, resulting in a longer and more cost-effective service life. All of our CPVC duct fittings are manufactured from Type IV, Grade 1 Corzan CPVC within Cell Class 23447 per ASTM D1784 standards.
Types of CPVC Duct Fittings We Carry
- 45° and 90° Elbows for changing direction in a duct run

- Butterfly Dampers for regulating airflow within the system
- Blastgates for controlling vacuum suction at individual machine or collection points
- Rain Caps (Style A and Style B) for protecting outdoor exhaust terminations from weather
- Rainskirts for additional weather protection at outdoor penetrations
- Flex Hose Adapters (Socket and Spigot) for connecting rigid CPVC duct to flexible hose
Sizes and Installation
CPVC duct fittings are available in IPS sizes from 2" through 24". These are thin-wall fittings designed specifically for duct applications and are not interchangeable with Schedule 40 or Schedule 80 CPVC fittings. All duct components in a system should be of the same CPVC material and wall thickness.
Fittings connect via socket ends using CPVC solvent cement welding. For systems above 14" in diameter, hot air welding is the recommended joining method. Proper support and hanging is required for all installations.
Common Applications
- Chemical fume exhaust and scrubber systems
- Industrial HVAC and ventilation
- Laboratory and cleanroom exhaust
- Manufacturing plant air handling
- Fume hood connections
- Dust and vapor collection systems
