Standard Open Channel Diffusers
A non-retractable type diffuser. Typical application includes water and waste-water treatment plants.
This unit spans most any open structure to disperse a chemical solution evenly across the channel.
Referencing the cut sheet, this model is built in 2 sections. The spool assembly is placed though a bore in the concrete structure where it is then secured by the threaded flange. The flanged diffuser is bolted to the spool assembly. Some diffuser lengths may require the use of a support apparatus for added lateral strength.
Engineered Open Channel Diffusers
These engineered diffusers are fabricated to the design engineers drawing as furnished to Saf-T-Flo.
Our application engineers review the submitted drawing and related specification to ensure the unit will work for the intended application.
Next, we submit our own detailed drawing of the unit along with a competitive technical proposal. After engineering approval and cost acceptance, we fabricate the unit, inspect it for quality and ship the unit to the specified destination.
