Ocal C type PVC coated conduit fittings feature a straight through design with an opening for pulling wire, making changes and connections. This fitting is similar to a coupling but with an opening in the body with a removable cover. Each end of the C conduit body features threaded ends with a PVC sealing pressure sleeves. This protects each connection from corrosion and the environment.
Additionally, all Ocal fittings are double-coated, first in blue urethane and then in 40 mils of PVC. These coatings keep corrosion and rust out of the conduit raceway so your work and electrical system is protected. Ocal fittings are available in several different material types and Forms. There are Form 7 fittings, Form 8 Fittings, Form 7 aluminum fittings, and Mark 9 aluminum fittings. The type you choose will depend on your job's engineer specifications and the application of the conduit. Type C fittings by Thomas & Betts are available in 1/2" though 3" sizes. Ocal conduit fittings come standard in a dark gray (almost black looking) PVC coating. Other colors are available upon request.
