The Eaton Model 30R Strainer is perfect in a moderate-pressure application, such as cooling towers, swimming pools, and large air conditioning installations. No tools needed to remove the cover, making basket cleaning or changing fast and easy. All Model 30R strainers include a drain plug and machined basket seat to prevent any debris from slipping by.

Simplex Basket Strainers
The two main types of pipeline basket strainer are simplex and duplex. The model 30R by Eaton is a simplex strainer, meaning it is designed for applications where shutting down the line for cleaning is acceptable. Duplex strainers on the other hand can divert flow to keep the line running during basket cleaning. Simplex strainers like this model typically have a single basket to collect debris from interrupting other processes.
