Types of CPVC Check Valves
True Union Ball Check Valves use a free-floating ball that seats automatically against backpressure. The true union body allows in-line servicing, so you can remove and replace internal components without cutting pipe. Available from 1/2" through 2" in Cepex, Flui-PRO, and Sanking models. Cepex and Flui-PRO valves include both socket and threaded end connections. Pressure rated up to 240 PSI at 73°F.
Swing Check Valves use a hinged disc that opens with flow and closes under reverse pressure. These are designed for larger industrial pipelines and are available from 2-1/2" through 6" with socket weld or flanged end connections. Industrial swing checks feature stainless steel hardware and are available with either EPDM or Viton seals. Pressure rated at 150 PSI at 73°F.
Wafer Check Valves use a compact dual-plate design that fits between flanges, making them a space-saving option where installation room is limited.
