This is an Eaton model 72 Steam Jacketed Strainer with 8" raised face flange connection ends. It is made of carbon steel with a fully welded steam jacket for steam circulation. Simplex basket strainers have one chamber that requires the line to be shut down for basket cleaning. The model 72SJ features a large capacity basket that allows for fewer basket changes over time and less downtime.
