Hayward manufactures everything you need for a efficient flow control system, including actuators. Actuators mount on a valve and operate it themselves. This allows opening, closing, and anything in-between to be scheduled, which means less work for you! Hayward actuators and controllers are easy to operate and will fit on valves from many companies, not just Hayward. Actuators are also great for corrosive environments that aren't safe for people. Check out our selection of electric and pneumatic actuators from Hayward below.

Hayward's electric and pneumatic actuators are specifically designed to work with Hayward's plastic valves, but could be compatible with others. To figure out if these actuators will work with a non-Hayward valve, check the ISO rating of the mounting apparatus. If they match up, you're in business! You may be wondering, "What's the difference between electric and pneumatic actuators?" Electric actuators use electricity to operate the valve, while pneumatic actuators use pressureized air. Both methods can provide precise actuation, but each has it's own specific strengths.
