Industrial pumps serve an obvious purpose: pumping fluid from one place to another. However, not all pumps are the same. Some pumps are designed for aquatic pumping while others are better for chemicals. Many pumps are horizontal, but others stand vertically to save more space. Hayward pumps are made of the highest quality thermoplastics, including glass-filled polypropylene (GFPP), CPVC, and PVDF. As you can see, these pumps vary in size, shape, and capability. Several of Hayward's process pumps are seal-less. This mean they don't have O-ring seals that end up wearing out and needing to be replaced. All three LifeStar pumps are designed to use for aquatic environments that must be closely monitored to ensure the water is clean enough for animals or plants.
